After a super dry and hot summer here in the Pacific Northwest, I am so ready for fall weather. It has always been my favorite season and I look forward to it every year. I love the rich colors, cooler temperatures, and the crispness in the air. And, there are less bugs!
I love autumn colors almost as much as I love the color pink. Almost. It’s fun buying the new pretty fall 6×6 paper pads, especially since they are usually perfect for masculine and feminine cards. The first fall 6×6 I used is the Hello Fall collection from Carta Bella.
A total of 35 cards were made using one 6×6 paper pad and my 6×6 Paper Pad Tutorial.
I recorded my entire process of disappearing the 6×6 paper pad. The video is sped up 7 times since the full recording time was just over 5 hours, not including any of my planning, prep, or die cutting time. Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.
In addition to using the 6×6 paper pad, I also used 1 sheet of 8 1/2″ x 11″ and 14 sheets of 12″ x 12″ solid colored cardstock. I had very few leftover scraps this time after using the Squared off cover panel die cut from Reverse Confetti.
Here are the pictures of the cards I made, including sketches and measurements. Operation Write Home sketches are the only ones that already provide measurements. For all the other sketches, I simply figure the measurements out on my own, for what works for me. All of my cards are A2 size. Go HERE to see my video explaining how I determine card sketch measurements. All cards are made using Carta Bella’s Hello Fall 6×6 paper pad.

Absolutely positively gorgeous!! Love. ??
Kristie, I've been following your blog for several months now and have enjoyed all the cards you create from 6×6 paper pads. It's amazing how many cards you can make!
As I was perusing my blog posts list on Bloglovin', I ran across this post, which is what brings me here now!…. I know it's very late (the wee hours of the night) and my brain is not fresh, but when I saw the title of your post and small photo of the cards on my blog scroll, I thought to myself… 'those aren't 6×6 cards… they're not square'… LOL!!
I guess I'm easily confused, or I really am too tired to still be up reading blog posts! 🙂
Wow! Such little waste!
You are Awesome!
When providing your cards to the nursing home, do you write a message and sign the card? What a great idea! These folks are often forgotten about and what a great way to brighten up their day! Love your work!!!
Hi Kristie
Love the video.Fabulous cards as always, but with the sketches used I think this is my favourite.
I need to make quite a few cards for a cancer charity event next week and will be using these sketches to help me create a good selection.
Looking forward to the next one.
Take care

Thank you, Karen!
Thank you, Paula! Sorry for the confusion with the blog post title. Definitely no 6×6 square size cards. Perhaps I need to use a different title next time.
Thank you, Annette!
Thank you! Yes, I write an uplifting message inside and sign my first name for the cards I give to local nursing homes. Everyone needs a little kindness and I believe something as simple as a card can put a smile on someone's face. 🙂
Thank you, Tracey! I like to use different sketches quite often for my videos. I did enjoy the sketches for this set of cards. I hope your charity event goes well! Thank you for your kindness!
I have just discovered your blog. Your work is AMAZING! I'm a huge fan of you now and I'm ready to stalk your blog closely. Thank you so much.
I haven't been doing anything with papers for years, thinking I wasn't good enough. You make it so easy for me to get started again. With a bit more confident and growing.
Thank you so much <3
Oh btw.. I enjoy your video's just as much. But it would help a lot if you also put a link to it on youtube. You see, I can't cast them to my TV directly from your blog. It will save a lot of time finding the right video among all the other ?
…Greetings Denmark ?
Super nice cards as usual. I love the 6X6 paper pad card workshop! Love the fall look!!
Thank you, Kristin! And welcome back to paper crafting. It definitely gets easier the more you do it. And remember, we are always our worst critics. I cringe when I look at some of my first scrapbooking pages. I really hope you do get back into paper crafting. I find it very relaxing. 🙂
I updated the blog post and added a direct link to my YouTube video. Hopefully that helps and I will try to get links added for the rest of my videos. 🙂
Thank you, Kim! Fall cards are always fun!
